Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor Christy Harrison, MPH, RD, CDN talks with guests about their relationships with food, body image, eating disorders, weight and size acceptance, non-diet nutrition, exercise, self-compassion and self-care--all from a body-positive, Health at Every Size perspective. Along the way, Christy shares her own journey from disordered eater and dieter to food writer and anti-diet dietitian, and offers tips to help you accept your body and let go of guilt about food. This podcast challenges diet culture in all its forms--including the restrictive behaviors that often masquerade as wellness and fitness. Body-positive dietitian Marsha Hudnall, MS, RD, shares how she achieved her decades-long recovery from eating disorders, why she gravitated toward Health at Every Size and intuitive eating in her work, how she teaches clients to change their thoughts about their bodies, and lots more! 

A registered dietitian nutritionist, Marsha has been a voice of reason for the last three decades in helping people move away from diets, using her personal and professional experience to give hope to women that overcoming eating and weight struggles is possible. 

Since 1986, Marsha has been a part of Green Mountain at Fox Run, the Vermont women's retreat for healthy weight and well-being that pioneered the non-diet approach to health and healthy weights. An accomplished writer, she has produced a body of work that reflects her desire to help women move away from restrictive notions of food and health. She has written hundreds of articles for popular magazines, newsletters and professional journals, and has worked extensively on a national basis to produce curricula and pamphlets to educate the public about nutrition and about the impact of dieting on eating behaviors, including binge eating and emotional eating.

Aaron Flores is a registered dietitian nutritionist and the owner of Balance Variety and Moderation RDN in Calabasas, California. With nearly 10 years of experience, Aaron has worked with eating disorders in a variety of settings. A large part of his career was spent working at the Veterans Administration, where he started one of the first Binge Eating Disorder groups for Veterans. His main areas of focus are Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size® and in his work, Aaron helps individuals learn how to make peace with food and develop body-positive behaviors. Along with the work in his private practice, he also blogs and hosts a podcast, Dietitians Unplugged

Kelsey M. Latimer, PhD, is a licensed psychologist in the Center for Pediatric Eating Disorders of Children’s Health/Children’s Medical Center Plano and an Assistant Professor in Psychiatry at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She works in all levels of care, including inpatient and partial hospitalization and leads the intensive outpatient program. Her research is focused on eating disorder prevention and intervention, and clinical outcomes of eating disorder programs.

Dr. Latimer has presented at over 40 regional/national/international conferences on topics of eating disorder treatment, body image and supervision/training. She has also been featured as a media expert source on Fox 4, Cosmopolitan.com, The Washington Post, Gurze Books Newsletter, Brit & Co, and Yahoo Style. Christy talks with food writer and culinary pro Hannah Howard about how her career has helped in her recovery from an eating disorder, why the support of a community is so important in developing a healthy relationship with food, and lots more!

Hannah Howard is a writer and food expert who spent her formative years in New York eating, drinking, serving, bartending, cooking on a hot line, flipping giant wheels of cheese, and managing restaurants. She writes about delicious things for a living, appears in food videos, teaches cheese and cooking classes, and hosts culinary events. Her memoir, Feast: True Love in and Out of the Kitchen, is forthcoming with Little A in 2018.

Her work has been featured in VICE, The New York Times, Thought Catalog, AMEX OPEN forum, Serious Eats, New York Magazine’s Grub Street, refinery29, SELF and Cheese Connoisseur. She mentors women recovering from eating disorders on building a happy, healthy relationships with food and themselves.
